Responsibilities
- Follow company procedures when processing refunds and returns and accurately complete all required forms.
- Assist customers with refunds and exchanges, answer their questions, and direct them with courtesy and professionalism.
- Ensure the accuracy and maintenance of tax-exempt sales records by following company guidelines.
- Send damaged merchandise to the claims department for processing and verify returned items against refund slips before returning them to the sales floor.
- Ensure all items are scanned correctly before being returned to the sales floor to contribute to price and inventory accuracy.
- Be willing to work different shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the business. Your adaptability helps ensure the smooth operation of the store and consistent, high-quality customer service.
- Effectively manage workload in a dynamic environment, ensuring high volumes of restocking and recovery are handled accurately and on time.
- Perform physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, bending, and lifting merchandise, equipment, or supplies weighing up to 9 kg (20 lb) and occasionally up to 23 kg (50 lb).
- Perform repetitive tasks such as restocking, zoning, and product put-away with attention to detail and consistency to maintain store standards.
