Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in an occupational therapy curriculum accredited by ACOTE standards.
  • Initial registration from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
  • Valid and unencumbered occupational therapy license as required in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

  • Targets strategic and profitable growth in assigned accounts and makes connections with key contacts.
  • Responsible for business growth in their assigned market.
  • Mentors and coaches local management teams in effective customer relationship management and business development strategies so that these team members can be leveraged for local business development activities and business growth.
  • Partners with operations while evaluating and making recommendations on potential synergies between business lines that would drive business growth, both new store and same store growth.
  • Evaluates new business opportunities and ensures the likelihood of profitability.
  • Generates new business leads through strategic marketing efforts that include tactics for cold calls, marketing analysis/targeting key accounts, direct mail, social media, and trade show operations.
  • Provides recommendations to the Regional Vice President and Senior Vice President on any appropriate adjustments of marketing plans that are necessary to achieve goals.
  • Maintains positive public relations of existing and potential customers through active communication, professional association membership, association committee membership, and trade show involvement.
  • In partnership with the Regional Vice President and Senior Vice President, assumes responsibility for the coordination of new business start-ups, including facility assessment and customer service, while simultaneously supporting ongoing marketing efforts that target external clients.
  • Ensures the highest standard of rehabilitation services is consistently provided.
  • Assists the Regional Vice President and Senior Vice President in annual budget preparation.
  • Assumes responsibility for meeting annual growth targets as set by the Regional Vice President and Senior Vice President.
  • Assists the Regional Vice President in identifying and securing new referral sources.
  • Assists the Regional Vice President in managing key customer relationships.
