About The Position
StretchLab Lubbock is seeking knowledgeable, passionate, and reliable professionals in the health and wellness industry. We will train you to become an expert in our 1:1 customized assisted stretching services for our members and prospects seeking to improve their mobility and flexibility. Our Flexologist training is the first nationally accredited program that will set you up for success in our community pop-up events and stretch studio. We are seeking individuals who can commit to at least 20 hours per week with the opportunity for more!
Requirements
- Active Personal Trainer or other fitness instructor certification
- Graduation from a trade school in bodywork to include: Massage Therapy, Physical Therapy Assistant, Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology, related Allied Health, or pre-med major
- Commitment to at least 20 hours per week
- Reliable transportation to commute to Lubbock, Texas
- Passion for helping people move and feel better
- Team player
- Strength, mobility, and stamina to provide assisted stretching services
- Lifelong learners and continue to stay curious
Nice To Haves
- Currently in school for Kinesiology, related Allied Health, or pre-med major
Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 customized assisted stretching services for members and prospects.
- Improve client mobility and flexibility.
- Participate in community pop-up events and work in the stretch studio.
- Provide assisted stretching services for clients ranging from 15 minute long stretches to 50 minutes.
