About The Position

Benchmark Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Assisted Living Wellness Director to oversee the hiring, training, and management of the community care team. The director will also serve as a liaison with family members, community agencies, physicians, and outside care providers. This role is part of the founding team at the new Cedar Grove community in Scotch Plains, New Jersey, offering an opportunity to help shape the community’s culture and resident experience as the company expands into New Jersey.

Requirements

Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) in New Jersey.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a care setting.

Nice To Haves

Assisted Living, Home Care, or Hospice setting experience.
Knowledge of dementia care.

Responsibilities

Oversee hiring, training, and management of the community care team.
Ensure compliance with resident-care regulations, including medication management, resident assessments, and care plans.
Document and maintain accurate records, as appropriate.
Demonstrate personal and resident safety methods and procedures.
Represent Benchmark Senior Living and educate outside groups and organizations about the company.
Serve as a liaison with family members, community agencies, physicians, and outside care providers.
