About The Position
Cappella Pueblo West Assisted Living Community is seeking a compassionate and dependable Assisted Living Personal Care Partner II (QMAP) to support residents with daily care, medication assistance, and kindness. This role involves assisting residents with personal care needs such as bathing, dressing, meals, laundry, and daily routines. The partner will also monitor changes in care needs and communicate updates to the team, ensuring attention to detail, especially during medication administration using the five rights: right resident, right medication, right dose, right time, and right route. The position is described as being part caregiver, part problem-solver, part safety champion, and part mood-booster. Responsibilities include restocking supplies, documenting care, completing work orders, and interacting positively with residents and families to create a community where residents feel seen, supported, and valued. The ideal candidate believes every resident has gifts to share and deserves care filled with dignity, purpose, and joy.
Requirements
- Medication certification; QMAP-A/L (per state of operation requirements)
- Must be able to read, write and speak the English language
- High school or Equivalent (GED)
- Proficient computer skills preferred
- Strong self-management and organization skills
- Strong multi-tasking abilities with the ability to handle competing deadlines, flexible and adaptable (Open to change)
- Ability to effectively handle difficult and sensitive issues and maintain confidentiality
Nice To Haves
- One (1) year experience in some level of elder care preferred
