About The Position

The Assisted Living Medication Manager assists residents with activities of daily living they cannot perform independently while supporting their independence and freedom of choice. Duties include assisting with medications, dressing and personal care, escorting residents to and from activities or events, performing minor housekeeping, and completing other tasks as necessary. Current openings are PRN on evenings and weekends. The community is located at 1203 N E St, Indianola, IA 50125. Applicants must complete a pre-hire health assessment and a four-panel drug screen.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age to pass medication.
• At least one year of previous Assisted Living or long-term care (LTC) experience.
• Complete a pre-hire health assessment and four-panel drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living they are unable to perform without help while maintaining their independence and freedom of choice.
• Assist residents with medication.
• Assist residents with dressing and personal care.
• Escort residents to and from activities or events.
• Perform minor housekeeping and other tasks as necessary.
