About The Position
As a Medication Manager with The Village, you will assist residents with activities of daily living they cannot perform without help while supporting their independence and freedom of choice. Duties include assisting with medication, dressing, and personal care; escorting residents to and from activities or events; performing minor housekeeping; and completing other tasks as necessary. Current openings are PRN on evenings and weekends. The position is based at 1203 N E St, Indianola, IA 50125. Applicants must complete a pre-hire health assessment and a four-panel drug screen.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age to pass medication.
- One year of previous Assisted Living or long-term care (LTC) experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living they are unable to perform without help while maintaining their independence and freedom of choice.
- Assist residents with medication, dressing, and personal care.
- Escort residents to and from activities or events.
- Perform minor housekeeping and other tasks as necessary.
