Assisted Living Medication Manager
About The Position
The Medication Manager administers medications to residents according to prescribed schedules, following medication management protocols and ensuring accuracy. The role also assists residents with daily living activities such as grooming, dressing, and meal preparation, while promoting their independence and well-being. The Medication Manager monitors residents’ health and promptly reports changes or concerns to healthcare professionals and family members. Accurate documentation of medication administration and resident care is required to support compliance with regulatory standards and protocols. PRN shifts are available, with day shifts on weekdays and weekends preferred. The position is based at the community located at 1200 Brookridge Cir, Atlantic, IA 50022. Applicants must successfully complete a pre-hire health assessment and drug screen before beginning employment.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old, as required by the State of Iowa to pass medication.
- Compassionate, dependable, and motivated to serve others.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Nice To Haves
- Prior assisted living experience is preferred but not required.
- Prior experience with whirlpool baths is highly preferred.
