Assisted Living Medication Manager
About The Position
The Medication Manager administers medications to residents according to prescribed schedules, ensuring accuracy and adherence to medication management protocols. The role also includes assisting residents with daily living activities such as grooming, dressing, and meal preparation to promote independence and well-being. Medication Managers monitor residents' health and promptly report changes or concerns to healthcare professionals and family members. They maintain accurate documentation of medication administration and resident care in accordance with regulatory standards and protocols. PRN shifts are available, with weekday and weekend day shifts preferred. The community is located at 1200 Brookridge Cir, Atlantic, Iowa 50022. Candidates must successfully complete a pre-hire health assessment and drug screen.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age, as required by the State of Iowa to pass medication.
- Compassionate, dependable, and motivated to serve others.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in assisted living is preferred but not required.
- Prior experience with whirlpool baths is highly preferred.
