About The Position

As an Assisted Living Dining Assistant, you help create a welcoming, safe, and caring home for residents. Working closely with the community team, you contribute to the dining experience by serving residents and guests, assisting with food and drink preparation, maintaining dining areas, and following food-service safety and sanitation procedures. The position is based in Mansfield, Texas, and starts at $15.50–$16 per hour.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must possess a Food Service Sanitation Certificate as required by state or local requirements.
Must have experience and/or knowledge of volume meal preparation and service for large groups.
Ability to read and understand recipes.
Ability to work in a team environment, handle multiple tasks at once, and communicate effectively verbally and/or in writing.
Ability to work flexible shifts.
Caring attitude and reliable attendance.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or guest service is preferred but not required.
High school graduate or GED preferred.
Some supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Serve residents and guests in the dining room professionally and according to established procedures.
Assist with drink and food preparation for residents.
Clean up, wash dishes, and set up and take down dining areas as assigned.
Prepare and serve snacks and replenish stock in common-area refreshment centers.
Follow safety and sanitation procedures to comply with governmental regulations.
Follow the regular schedule of work activities and assignments to support effective food service.
