Assisted Living Coordinator
About The Position
At Sunrise Senior Living, the Assisted Living Coordinator leads daily care operations in an assisted living neighborhood, ensuring high-quality, resident-centered services and building and developing a strong caregiving team. The role supports resident quality of life through effective team leadership, care coordination, and operational oversight. The coordinator works with clinical teams, families, Activities, and Dining to address resident needs and enhance the resident experience. The position also supports regulatory compliance, team performance, budget management, labor management, and operational efficiency. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends and support operations is required.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in assisted living, long-term care, or healthcare.
- At least 1 year of supervisory or team leadership experience.
- Strong staffing, scheduling, and team management skills.
- Knowledge of resident care practices and regulatory requirements.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and care systems.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends and support operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead recruiting, hiring, and development of the caregiving team.
- Manage staffing, scheduling, and daily timekeeping reviews.
- Oversee daily operations of the assisted living neighborhood.
- Ensure delivery of Resident-Centered Care and execution of ISPs.
- Partner with clinical teams on assessments, care planning, and resident needs.
- Monitor changes in residents’ conditions and communicate with families.
- Collaborate with Activities and Dining to enhance the resident experience.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and quality standards.
- Manage team performance, engagement, coaching, and evaluations.
- Support the department budget, labor management, and operational efficiency.
