About The Position

The Assisted Living Coordinator leads daily care operations in an assisted living neighborhood, ensuring high-quality, resident-centered services while building and developing a strong caregiving team. The role oversees staffing and neighborhood operations, supports care planning and service delivery, and promotes a positive resident experience while maintaining regulatory, safety, and quality standards.

The coordinator also contributes to team performance and engagement, departmental budgeting, labor management, and operational efficiency. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends and support operational needs is expected.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in assisted living, long-term care, or healthcare.
• At least 1 year of supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Strong staffing, scheduling, and team management skills.
• Knowledge of resident care practices and regulatory requirements.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and care systems.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends and support operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead recruiting, hiring, and development of the caregiving team.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, and daily timekeeping reviews.
• Oversee daily operations of the assisted living neighborhood.
• Ensure delivery of Resident-Centered Care and execution of ISPs.
• Partner with clinical teams on assessments, care planning, and resident needs.
• Monitor changes in residents’ conditions and communicate with families.
• Collaborate with Activities and Dining to enhance the resident experience.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and quality standards.
• Manage team performance, engagement, coaching, and evaluations.
• Support the department budget, labor management, and operational efficiency.
