About The Position

Brookdale is hiring an Assisted Living Caregiver to provide direct care to residents and support their independence, individual needs, and dignity. The role includes assisting with activities of daily living and personal care, helping with light household tasks, and engaging residents in meaningful conversation. Depending on state regulations, completion of training or certification may be required. Caregivers may have opportunities to advance into roles such as Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA/STNA) or Medication Technician (QMAP).

Responsibilities

Provide direct care to residents, recognize individual needs, encourage independence, and treat each senior with respect and dignity.
Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and other personal care needs.
Help residents with vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and dishes.
Engage residents in meaningful conversations and provide attentive care.
Complete training or certification when required by state regulation.
