Requirements

• Bachelors degree required.
• Previous experience as a NCAA assistant coach, or previous experience as a collegiate head coach at the NCAA Division I, II, or III, NAIA or NJCAA level.
• 1-2 years of collegiate coaching experience is preferred.
• Evidence of strong organizational and communication skills.
• Current knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.
• A commitment to student-athlete welfare and academic success.
• Must have a complete and detailed employment history highlighting relevant full-time and part-time work experience, including start and end dates.
• Must provide at least three professional references.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Must complete and maintain Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification.

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree preferred.
• 1-2 years of collegiate coaching experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the organization and administration of the Wrestling program in accordance with the rules and regulations of the University, Mid-American Conference and NCAA.
• Developing a competitive NCAA Division I Wrestling program with an emphasis on the academic success of the student-athlete.
• Assisting the Head Coach with the administration of the program in a manner that promotes the health, safety, and welfare of the student-athlete.
• Having a full understanding of NCAA rules that pertain to the position and complying with all NCAA rules.
• Immediately reporting any known or reasonably suspected violations of NCAA rules to the Director of Athletics or their designee.
