About The Position

Felician University is seeking a dynamic, energetic, enthusiastic, and experienced athletics professional to serve as Assistant Coach for Men’s Wrestling. This role supports the Head Coach in all aspects of the Men's Wrestling program, with a primary focus on teaching and training student-athletes in the rules, regulations, equipment needs, skills, and techniques of wrestling. This is a fully in-person, part-time appointment, not to exceed 25 hours per week, for a 12-month duration.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required (may be waived with significant relative practical coaching experience).
  • Minimum of 1-year collegiate coaching experience in wrestling or related sport.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills.
  • Proven ability to engage, motivate, and direct a team of student athletes of diverse backgrounds and experience levels.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Ability to instruct skills associated with wrestling.
  • Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule which includes evenings and weekends.
  • Ability to support and promote the Franciscan Felician mission and values of the University.

Responsibilities
