About The Position

Penn State Altoona, a member of the NCAA Division III and the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC), invites candidates to apply for the position of Part-Time Assistant Wrestling Coach. The Assistant Coach will report to the head coach and will be responsible for assisting in the management of all aspects of the Wrestling program. This is a part-time opening.

Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to recruit, motivate, and develop Division III student-athletes
• Knowledge of the sport and a verifiable ability to teach both fundamentals and strategies of the sport
• Commitment to high academic standards and the NCAA Division III philosophy
• Reputation for integrity
• Well versed in the sport
• 1-2 years of previous coaching experience
• Valid driver’s license
• PA State Police Criminal Background Check
• PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form
• Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check
• Successful completion of a motor vehicle records check
