About The Position

Pratt Institute is seeking an Assistant Women's Volleyball Coach to assist in developing, organizing, and administering all aspects of a competitive NCAA Division III volleyball program. The role involves supporting the Head Coach in various coaching duties, recruitment, and ensuring compliance with NCAA regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in volleyball, a commitment to fostering a diverse and equitable environment, and the ability to work flexible hours.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Volleyball coaching / playing experience
• Availability to work nights and weekends for games and early morning practices is a must
• Valid driver’s license with the ability to drive a 12-passenger van
• Ability to work well in diverse environment
• AED/CPR/First Aid Certification

Nice To Haves

• Volleyball coaching experience at the collegiate level
• Recruiting experience at the collegiate level

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Coach with various aspects of coaching, such as planning and executing practices, video review and opponent scouting, and game planning
• Drive the team to practices and games.
• Aid in prospective student-athlete recruitment
• Follow NCAA Division III rules and regulations and pass annual Coaches Exam
• Complete campus Title IX and DEI training
• Support and attend designated department and campus functions
• Perform other duties as assigned
