In this role, you’ll be responsible for daily park operations, assisting the Waterpark Director in scheduling, training, staffing, adhering to state aquatic code and regulations, and assisting with the overall safety of guests/staff and guest satisfaction. Lead with heart, accountability, and purpose by fostering a culture where team members feel supported, developed, and empowered to deliver a safe and exceptional guest experience every day.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an operational floor supervisory role preferred, with a leadership position in a large water park or recreational facility
  • Previous lifeguard experience required
  • Extensive knowledge of leisure activities, commercial recreation, and/or large waterpark in a “for-profit” setting
  • Significant experience with guest services and conflict resolution
  • Experience with scheduling and managing labor budget
  • Experience with Hiring & Retention initiatives
  • Basic knowledge of Human Resource law and function
  • Ability to pass Kalahari’s lifeguard certification
