About The Position

This is a one-year position only, depending on participant numbers. The Assistant Volleyball Coach will support the athletic program and model behavior as outlined in the Coaches Handbook. Successful candidates will demonstrate knowledge of assigned sports fundamentals, possess organizational and motivational skills, and be willing to support the total athletic program.

Requirements

• Enthusiasm for athletics.
• Current First Aid and C.P.R. card.
• Those recommended for hire must attend a training class on Hepatitis B and HIV, receive vaccination for Hepatitis B if necessary, and take the district's class on sexual harassment training.
• Those recommended for hire will be fingerprinted for a background check.
• Pursuant to WIAA Regulations, Assistant coaches must be 19 years of age.

Nice To Haves

• Successful coaching experience and training over a period of years.
• Class room teacher is preferred but, not required.
