About The Position

The Assistant Volleyball Coach and Coordinator of Operations plays a pivotal role in the effective functioning and management of the college volleyball program. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all aspects of team travel, including transportation, lodging, and scheduling.
  • Assist with volleyball camps and clinics, ensuring smooth operation and participant satisfaction.
  • Serve as the primary financial services support for the volleyball program, managing budgets, expenditures, and financial reporting.
  • Supervise student managers and volunteer staff, delegating tasks and providing guidance as needed.
  • Assist coaching staff and sport administrator with special projects closely related to the volleyball program.
  • Perform department projects, attend external events, and undertake other duties as assigned.
  • Assist with recruiting efforts, including identifying prospects, conducting promotional activities, and making recruitment trips.
  • Manage the team budget, monitor expenditures, and ensure compliance with university and NCAA regulations.
  • Conduct promotional activities for fundraising, recruitment, public relations, and marketing.
  • Administer policies and procedures regarding academic expectations for team members.
  • Coordinate videotape editing and review of practices and games.
  • Manage equipment inventory and related duties.
  • Assist in the management of the team's social media accounts.
  • Demonstrate regular and predictable attendance.
  • Perform any other related duties as assigned to promote the effective and efficient operation of the volleyball program.
