Assistant Coach, Volleyball
About The Position
Florida SouthWestern State College is seeking a Part-Time Assistant Coach, Volleyball to join their team. The Assistant Coach will assist in planning and administering all aspects of the Volleyball program, reporting directly to the Head Coach. Responsibilities include maintaining program integrity, upholding the exemplary student-athlete concept, and fostering the personal development of student-athletes both on and off the court. The Assistant Coach must ensure that student-athletes' behavior reflects favorably upon the College community and the athletics program. They are required to adhere to all rules and regulations pertaining to the program and appropriate governing organizations. This is a limited-term position.
Requirements
- Associate's degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher education.
- Two (2) years of coaching experience at a related skill level.
- CPR and First Aid Certification or ability to obtain certification.
- Ability to work irregular hours including evenings and weekends.
Nice To Haves
- Four (4) years of College-level playing experience in respective sport may be substituted for coaching experience.
