About The Position
Bishop Ireton High School is seeking an experienced professional to serve as an Assistant Volleyball Coach for the girls' team. The role involves contributing to building the program to the highest level of league and state play, focusing on teaching and developing student-athletes in skill, sportsmanship, and character. The fall season runs from early August to mid-November, with practices held in the afternoons and evenings. Bishop Ireton is a Catholic, co-educational college preparatory school located in Alexandria, Virginia.
Requirements
- Experience coaching high school aged students.
- Commitment to the principles of a Catholic, college preparatory school.
- Interpersonal skills and a record of developing strong relationships with student-athletes, administrators, parent/guardians, and others in the school community.
- Submit a resume and the names and telephone numbers of at least two references.
Nice To Haves
- Prior coaching and/or college playing experience.
- Experience and familiarity with competitive high school, or equivalent youth volleyball programs.
