About The Position

Comfrt is seeking an Assistant Visual Store Manager to help lead its retail location at American Dream. The role is the creative champion of the store’s physical identity, translating the company’s mental wellness mission into a visually appealing shopping environment. The manager owns visual storytelling on the sales floor by interpreting corporate planograms, executing product merchandising, and styling displays. The position also supports associate training, development, and performance management; helps ensure an exceptional customer experience; and works with the Store Manager and retail leadership team to drive sales, profitability, and store goals.

Requirements

At least 5 years of retail experience.
At least 2 years managing visual merchandising in high-volume retail.
Action-oriented and results-driven approach.
Ability to motivate others and build effective teams, with strong leadership and team management skills.
Conflict mediation and negotiation skills.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Passion for outstanding customer service and proven retail management experience.
Comfort working in a fast-paced, changing environment.

Annual availability to work Black Friday through the end of the holiday season.

Responsibilities

Execute Comfrt visual merchandising planograms for each launch.
Maintain brand standards, including decal and light box installation, mannequin styling, cleanliness, and organization.
Use weekly sales data and performance metrics to make strategic visual changes and identify product needs.
Support initial store setup and launch.
Support the Store Manager in recruiting, training, scheduling, and developing team members.
Educate and train team members on product knowledge and delivering strong customer experiences.
Represent the brand through product expertise, sharing product stories with customers, making product recommendations, and training the team.
Foster a positive, productive, and inspirational work environment.
Assist with daily operations, including opening and closing procedures.
Oversee inventory management, shipment processing, stock replenishment, and inventory accuracy.
Unpack inventory boxes as required; boxes may weigh 5–50 lbs.
Track hours and expenses accurately and participate in reviewing store P&L statements for accuracy.
Ensure safety and security procedures are followed and promptly communicate potential issues.
Be available to work Black Friday through the end of the holiday season annually.
