About The Position

The Assistant Vice President of Revenue Cycle Applications will provide strategic leadership for the organization's Epic Revenue Cycle portfolio, ensuring technology investments are aligned with operational priorities and financial performance goals. The successful candidate will possess extensive expertise across Epic Revenue Cycle applications, including Resolute Hospital Billing, Resolute Professional Billing, Claims, HIM, and related modules, and serve as a trusted partner to Revenue Cycle Operations leadership. This role is responsible for establishing clear roadmaps, strengthening prioritization and governance processes, and developing a high-performing team capable of delivering impactful solutions. The AVP will champion optimization, adoption of Epic functionality, and continuous improvement initiatives that drive operational efficiency, enhance user engagement, and maximize the value of the Epic platform.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Information Systems, Computer Science, Health Administration, Business Administration, Finance/Accounting
  • 10+ years Progressive healthcare IT experience with at least 5+ years in leadership
  • Epic Resolute Hospital Billing Upon Hire
  • Epic Resolute Professional Billing Upon Hire
  • Epic Claims Upon Hire
  • Epic HIM Upon Hire

Nice To Haves

  • Master's MBA, MHA, MS Information Systems
  • 7 years Epic Revenue Cycle experience
  • Additional revenue cycle certifications Upon Hire

Responsibilities

  • Provides strategic leadership for the Revenue Cycle application portfolio, ensuring technology investments align with organizational and financial objectives.
  • Partners with Revenue Cycle Operations leadership to prioritize initiatives and align application strategy with operational goals.
  • Develops and maintain application roadmaps for Revenue Cycle systems, including future-state planning and optimization opportunities.
  • Leads and develops high-performing teams responsible for Revenue Cycle applications and related technologies.
  • Drives optimization and adoption of Epic functionality across Revenue Cycle workflows.
  • Champions continuous improvement initiatives that improve efficiency, effectiveness, and user satisfaction.
  • Provides oversight for Revenue Cycle applications, including Resolute Hospital Billing, Resolute Professional Billing, Claims, HIM, and related modules.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
