About The Position
Adventure Christian School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Varsity Softball Coach to support the softball program. This role is ideal for someone passionate about developing athletes and contributing to a positive, competitive team environment.
Requirements

- Be willing to participate in team devotions and program culture-building activities
- SPORT playing or coaching experience preferred
- Knowledge of fundamentals and game strategy
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to collaborate with the head coach and athletic staff
- Position requires moderate physical exertion associated with the ability to lift, carry, push, pull or climb.
- Position requires physical capability for sustained physical work, requires strength and endurance associated with moderate physical effort.
- Position requires moderate physical effort while performing continuous moderate lifting.
- Lifting 50 lbs. maximum or carrying an object up to 25 lbs.
Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and leading practices and games
- Help teach fundamental and position-specific softball skills
- Support game-day coaching and player development
- Provide encouragement, mentorship, and accountability to athletes
- Assist with program organization and communication
- Help foster a positive and Christ-centered team culture
- Other duties assigned by the Athletics Director
