About The Position

Adventure Christian School is seeking a passionate and experienced Head Varsity Softball Coach to lead and grow our high school softball program. The head coach will be responsible for building a competitive program while developing student-athletes' skills, character, and leadership, in alignment with the mission of ACS Athletics.

Requirements

• Model Christ-like character in all interactions
• Support the mission and values of Adventure Christian School
• Encourage spiritual growth and accountability among student-athletes
• Be willing to participate in team devotions and program culture-building activities
• Previous softball coaching experience (high school level preferred)
• Strong knowledge of softball fundamentals and strategy
• Proven leadership and program-building ability
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead all practices, games, and program activities
• Develop and implement a comprehensive program vision
• Teach fundamental and advanced softball skills, strategies, and game concepts
• Foster a positive, disciplined, and Christ-centered team culture
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and accountability for student-athletes
• Manage scheduling, communication, and overall program organization
• Collaborate with the Athletic Director and school administration
• Ensure compliance with CIF and school policies
• Promote program growth and student participation
• Other duties assigned by the Athletics Director
