About The Position

Talladega College, an NAIA member of the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference, is seeking applications for the position of Head Softball Coach. This is a full-time, 10-month assignment, reporting directly to the Director of Athletics. The role involves the overall management of the softball program, including coaching, recruiting and retaining academically and athletically qualified student-athletes within a rigorous academic setting, as well as managing schedules, budgets, and travel arrangements. Additional duties may be assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of three years of coaching experience at the collegiate level
  • Demonstrated knowledge of NAIA and GCAC rules
  • Commitment to the academic development of student-athletes
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with staff, faculty, students, parents and alumni from diverse ethnic, cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree
