Assistant Varsity Football Coaches (Fall 2026)
About The Position
Episcopal High School is seeking candidates to serve as assistant varsity football coaches for the fall 2026 season. These positions are part-time, seasonal, stipended staff positions beginning Saturday, August 15, 2026. The successful candidate will understand, appreciate, and capitalize on the role that athletics play in helping students learn to build together, work together, and achieve together, from a range of backgrounds, perspectives, and identities. The successful candidate will also further develop that understanding and appreciation in their athletes. As a member of the Interstate Athletic Conference (IAC) and Independent School League (ISL) in the Greater Washington, DC area, Episcopal has a rich academic and athletic tradition and is deeply committed to seeing athletics as a crucial classroom in which our students strive for excellence and develop as healthy, determined, collaborative, and ethical leaders for the future.
Requirements
- Previous playing and/or coaching experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist in coaching the varsity football team for the fall 2026 season.
- Help students learn to build together, work together, and achieve together.
- Develop athletes' understanding and appreciation of teamwork and collaboration.
- Contribute to the development of healthy, determined, collaborative, and ethical leaders.
