About The Position
The Syracuse City School District is seeking a dedicated and diverse team of educators to partner with its goals of ensuring all students graduate high school ready for college and career. The district represents 35 schools and programs, serving approximately 19,000 students. The district offers 120 different athletic teams for students in grades 7-12, with a coaching staff of certified, dedicated individuals who enjoy working with student athletes. The modified program for grades 7-8 emphasizes skill development, participation, discipline, enjoyment, competition, and hard work, rather than winning. The high school level (freshman, Junior Varsity, and Varsity teams) stresses the development of academics, goal setting, teamwork, leadership, and sportsmanship, with a focus on striving for success and producing efficient team and individual efforts.

Responsibilities
- Coach student athletes in grades 7-12.
