Reporting to the Senior Director, the Assistant to the Senior Director provides high-level administrative and operational support to ensure the effective functioning of the Olinde Career Center. This role manages complex scheduling, coordinates meetings and events, and facilitates communication across leadership and staff. The Assistant to the Senior Director plays a key role in organizing priorities and supporting strategic initiatives while ensuring departmental leadership time and resources are aligned with the Olinde Career Center's highest priorities. Strengthen Operational Effectiveness Across the Department: The Assistant to the Senior Director plays a critical role in creating the structure, organization, and coordination that allows the department to operate efficiently at the highest level. Through building strong systems, follow-through, and proactive support, the Assistant will help create an environment where work moves forward with greater clarity, accountability, and effectiveness and increases the capacity of leadership to focus on strategic initiatives, student impact, and relationship building. Improve Communication and Coordination Among Stakeholders: The Assistant serves as a central point of coordination that helps maintain clear, timely, and professional communication across staff, campus partners, employers, and external stakeholders. By streamlining the flow of information, organizing follow-up actions, and ensuring alignment across projects and initiatives, the Assistant to the Senior Director will strengthen collaboration and help move work forward more efficiently across the organization.
