As the Assistant to Program Team Leadership, you will be a key operational partner to MVP’s Chief Program Officer (CPO) and Director of State Programs, helping two senior leaders — and the broader Program Team — stay organized, informed, and focused on the work that matters most. This is a unique opportunity for someone who loves creating order out of complexity, has exceptional attention to detail, and wants a front-row seat to high-level strategy and decision-making in progressive politics. You’ll gain hands-on exposure to MVP’s work supporting powerful state-based organizations and progressive political leadership across the country. This is also, importantly, a role for someone who genuinely enjoys the nuts and bolts of making a team run well. You will spend significant time in spreadsheets, calendars, inboxes, Slack, Airtable, shared drives, and documents — tracking details, connecting dots, anticipating needs, and making sure important things don’t fall through the cracks. You will report to the Chief Program Officer (CPO) and provide primary administrative support to both the CPO and Director of State Programs. In addition to calendar, inbox, travel, and administrative management, you will play an important role in project management, information management, and tracking and synthesizing the Program Team’s work. As an MVP team member, you work towards achieving its mission through excellent execution and living its organizational values through intentional practices.
