About The Position

The Assistant Teller Manager is a key member of the customer service team within the branch network. This role supports the Teller Manager with running the Teller line in their assigned branch. The Assistant Teller Manager operates as a Teller at an advanced level by providing and modeling quality customer service, answering customer questions, and making recommendations based on a wide range of competitive banking options. This role is also on the front lines of fraud and risk management efforts, as well as the training of new Teller staff members.

Requirements

• Able to perform all functions of a Teller independently.
• High level of organizational skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to assist with coaching and training of Teller staff.

• Proficient enough in branch processes to backup the Teller Manager in their absence.
• Continue to learn about CNB products and services.
• Develop leadership skills necessary to coach and train Teller staff members.

Responsibilities

• Operate as a Teller at an advanced level.
• Provide and model quality customer service.
• Answer customer questions.
• Make recommendations for banking options.
• Participate in fraud and risk management efforts.
• Train new Teller staff members.
• Assist with coordination of daily work tasks with Teller personnel.
• Assist with coaching and training of Teller staff members, including product knowledge, technical proficiency, and the CNB referral program.
• Backup the Teller Manager in their absence.
• Perform all aspects of the Teller role at the highest level.
