About The Position

We are seeking an Assistant Technology Manager. The Assistant Technology Manager will support the planning, execution, and completion of IT projects. This role involves coordinating project activities, ensuring timely delivery of project milestones, and facilitating communication among stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a project coordinator or in a similar role, preferably in IT or a technical environment.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle high-pressure situations.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budgets.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and document meeting minutes.
  • Track project progress and ensure adherence to deadlines and deliverables.
  • Act as the main point of contact for project-related inquiries and updates.
  • Facilitate communication between project team members, stakeholders, and external vendors.
  • Prepare and distribute project status reports and updates to stakeholders.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and change requests.
  • Monitor project budgets and expenditures, ensuring financial accuracy and adherence to project constraints.
  • Report on project performance, identifying any issues and suggesting corrective actions.
  • Identify potential project risks and issues and assist in developing mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor and address project risks, ensuring they are documented and communicated effectively.
  • Provide administrative support to the project management team, including handling correspondence and managing project-related files.
  • Coordinate project logistics, such as resource allocation and equipment procurement.
