The Assistant Team Leader supports the Team Leader in providing leadership and direct activities of a mobile multi-disciplinary treatment team. This role involves supporting staff, ensuring effective communication, leading meetings in the Team Leader's absence, providing direction on individual cases, conducting side-by-side contacts and supervision meetings, and being available for emergency consultation. A significant portion of the role (50%) is dedicated to direct participant services as a member of the clinical staff, with the remaining 50% focused on administrative and supervisory duties. The Assistant Team Leader is also responsible for ensuring cross-training among team members, shared responsibilities for recipients and charting, supporting staff in writing and revising service plans, advocating for participant rights and preferences, and participating in an on-call rotation. Additional responsibilities may be assigned by a supervisor.
