About The Position

This is more than just a daycare job. It’s a journey, where you learn, grow, thrive—and play—every day. Assistant Teachers help inspire children to become lifelong learners by supporting their care, learning, and development in a child care center. They follow licensing guidelines and company standards, maintain a clean, organized, fun, and interactive classroom, and develop their ability to observe, assess, and plan for children and communicate effectively with families. The role includes extensive training on childcare, preschool, and child development topics.

Requirements

• Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
• Energetic, dependable, and passionate about working with children.

Responsibilities

• Follow all licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child.
• Maintain a fun, interactive classroom that is clean and organized.
• Develop the ability to accurately observe, assess, and plan for children.
• Communicate effectively with families.
