About The Position

Assistant Teachers support the daily care and development of children in a child care center. They follow licensing guidelines and company standards, help maintain a fun, interactive, clean, and organized classroom, and develop skills in observing, assessing, and planning for children and communicating with families. The position includes extensive training on childcare, preschool, and child development topics. The role requires working indoors or outdoors and engaging in physical activity with children. The stated pay is $17.25 per hour, paid bi-weekly, with a daily pay option. Compensation is based on position, education, and experience. The work week is Monday through Friday.

Requirements

• Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Energetic and dependable, with a passion for working with children.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
