About The Position
This is a child care center role focused on inspiring children to become lifelong learners. Assistant Teachers support children’s daily care, help maintain a fun and interactive classroom, and develop their skills in observing, assessing, and planning for children and communicating with families. The role includes extensive training in childcare, preschool, and child development.
Requirements
- Energetic and dependable, with a passion for working with children.
- Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
- Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
Responsibilities
- Follow all licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child.
- Maintain a fun, interactive classroom that is clean and organized.
- Develop the ability to accurately observe, assess, and plan for children.
- Communicate effectively with families.
- Complete extensive training on childcare, preschool, and child development topics.
