About The Position
Learning Ladder is seeking an Assistant Teacher to join their team. This role involves working with children under 13 years of age. The position offers flexibility with an Early Wage Access (EWA) program, allowing employees to access a portion of their earned wages on demand before payday.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- HS Diploma/GED
- 1 year experience working with children under 13
- Maintain 30 hours of childcare-related training every 2 years
- Tuberculosis (TB) Test and physician’s clearance to work in childcare
- Basic computer skills, with strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to relate to diverse groups in the community
- Child Abuse Prevention (Supervisory Staff), CPR, First Aid, AED, Blood-borne Pathogens trainings (completed within 30 days of hire)
