About The Position

The Malvern School is hiring a full-time Assistant Teacher for the classroom at its Voorhees school. The Assistant Teacher helps implement a high-quality Early Childhood Education program in accordance with school policies and the Malvern School philosophy, and maintains a safe, healthy, and educational classroom environment. The role also involves communicating regularly with parents, both in person and through technology, to meet or exceed their expectations.

The Malvern School emphasizes innovative, child-centered programming, teamwork, professional development, and clean, attractive facilities. Its curriculum is designed to meet or exceed National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma and be at least 18 years of age.
• At least 2,500 hours of documented experience with young children in a licensed facility; or 15 relevant college credits or a CDA and at least 1,250 hours of documented experience with young children in a licensed facility.
• Passion for Early Childhood Education.

Responsibilities
