About The Position

This is a child care center role focused on helping children become lifelong learners. The Assistant Teacher supports the daily care of every child, maintains an engaging and organized classroom, and develops skills in observing, assessing, and planning for children and communicating with families. The role includes extensive training in childcare, preschool, and child development.

Requirements

• Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Energetic and dependable, with a passion for working with children.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Follow all licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child.
• Maintain a fun, interactive classroom that is clean and organized.
• Develop the ability to accurately observe, assess, and plan for children.
• Effectively communicate with families.
• Complete training on childcare, preschool, and child development topics.
• Engage in physical activity with children indoors or outdoors.

• Hourly pay of $17.25, with bi-weekly and Daily Pay options; compensation is based on position, education, and experience.
