About The Position
Kidz Lodge Early Learning Center is seeking two Assistant Teachers to join their team. This role involves working with children under 13 and requires specific qualifications and training. The center offers an Early Wage Access (EWA) program, allowing employees to access a portion of their earned wages on demand.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- HS Diploma/GED
- 1 year experience working with children under 13
- Basic computer skills
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to relate to diverse groups in the community
Responsibilities
- Work with children under 13 years of age.
- Complete 30 hours of childcare-related training every 2 years.
- Obtain a Tuberculosis (TB) Test and physician’s clearance to work in childcare.
- Complete Child Abuse Prevention, CPR, First Aid, AED, and Blood-borne Pathogens trainings within 30 days of hire.
