About The Position

This position works under the on-site supervision of a qualified teacher who is available at all times. The role involves assisting in teaching children in the classroom, being punctual and present each day as scheduled, and spending quality time in the classroom. Additional responsibilities include performing other duties and projects as required by management. The work environment includes a child care setting and potentially outdoor environments in various weather conditions.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED equivalent or be currently enrolled in High School
• Must pass an OSBI background check
• Must have CPR and First Aid certification
• Must have a genuine love and concern for children
• Must be creative and have an aptitude for teaching and promoting child development
• Ability to stay calm in emergency situations
• Must have an even temperament
• Sitting or standing or walking for long periods of time
• Occasional bending, squatting, kneeling, stooping
• Good finger dexterity and feeling
• Frequent repetitive motions
• Talking, hearing, and visual acuity
• Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs
