About The Position

The Malvern School is seeking a full-time Assistant Teacher for the classroom at its Voorhees school. The role supports the implementation of the school’s Early Childhood Education program in accordance with school policies and philosophy, maintains a safe, healthy, and educational classroom environment, and communicates regularly with parents in person and through technology. Requirements

• High school diploma and be at least 18 years of age.
• At least 2,500 hours of documented experience with young children in a licensed facility; alternatively, 15 relevant college credits or a CDA and at least 1,250 hours of documented experience with young children in a licensed facility.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing the Early Childhood Education program in accordance with school policies and The Malvern School’s philosophy.
• Maintain a safe, healthy, and educational environment for the class.
• Communicate regularly with parents, in person and through technology, meeting or exceeding parent expectations.
