About The Position

New Horizon Academy is seeking a Childcare Assistant Teacher to support children’s learning and development in early care and education. The educator will work in equipped classrooms, receive support from knowledgeable staff, and help foster children’s love of learning. The position offers opportunities for professional growth and development, including scholarships and tuition reimbursement.

Requirements

• Meet or exceed the teacher requirements and qualifications established by the Minnesota Department of Licensing and applicable state guidelines.
• Be able to work a flexible, full-time schedule, Monday through Friday.
• Have a positive work ethic and a team-centered attitude.
• Be willing to learn and grow as an educator.
• Enjoy working with children.
• Satisfy the applicant background study required by state regulations.
• Provide proof of identity and eligibility to legally work in the United States.
• Have the physical abilities to perform required job duties, with or without accommodations.

Nice To Haves

• Previous childcare experience is preferred but not required.
• Experience in Early Childhood Education or a related field of work.
