About The Position

This staff member will assist in the oversight of the Adventures 4 Kids Program while nurturing and guiding our K-4 students during the after-care portion of the day. Program activities include active play inside and outside, creative play, and quiet time for reading and homework. Adventures 4 Kids is available to students from 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. on all school days unless otherwise specified. The assistant hours are 1:45 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. but may vary based on after care attendance numbers. Requirements

• Possess a strong Christian faith with a solid knowledge of the Bible, a growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and a demonstrated character of integrity.
• Believe and actively support the school’s Statement of Faith.
• Possess a passion for Christian education and student discipleship.
• Individual must be comfortable connecting the biblical truths and biblical worldview perspectives to their students’ lives.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience working with school aged children is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Implement programming as directed by the Adventures 4 Kids Program Coordinator.
• Ability to manage student behavior while building positive relationships among students.
• Ability to work with all functions - administration, support staff, other faculty, and students.
