PreK Teacher (2 Days a Week)
About The Position
The PreK Teacher role includes investing in students relationally and providing students with relevant, effective, and dynamic classroom instruction that equips the minds and disciples the hearts of students for Christ-like living. LCA hires staff who care about the spiritual and academic growth of their students, who maintain high academic standards, and who love Christ and live by biblical principles. LCA has a community of staff and faculty who join together regularly for prayer, biblical worldview training, celebrations, and staff development.
Requirements
- Possess a strong Christian faith with a solid knowledge of the Bible, a growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and a demonstrated character of integrity.
- Believe and actively support the school’s Statement of Faith.
- Possess a passion for Christian education and student discipleship.
- Ability to work with all functions - administration, support staff, other faculty, and students.
- First Aid and CPR training (current certification)
- Computer and software experience required
Nice To Haves
- Early childhood licensure or certificate, and/or a 4 year teaching degree preferred.
- Teaching experience a plus
