About The Position

Childtime is hiring an Assistant Teacher to help create a supportive, engaging environment where children can learn and grow. The role involves caring for children in accordance with licensing guidelines and company standards, maintaining a clean and organized classroom, engaging with children, and developing skills in observing, assessing, and planning for children and communicating with families. The position includes extensive training on childcare, preschool, and child development topics.

Requirements

• Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
• Energetic and dependable, with a passion for working with children.

Responsibilities

• Follow licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child.
• Maintain a fun, interactive classroom that is clean and organized.
• Engage with children and participate in physical activities with them indoors or outdoors.
• Develop the ability to observe, assess, and plan for children.
• Communicate effectively with families.
• Complete training on childcare, preschool, and child development topics.
