About The Position

Childtime is hiring an Assistant Teacher to help provide daily care and learning experiences for children. The role involves following licensing guidelines and company standards, maintaining a clean, organized, and interactive classroom, and engaging with children in indoor and outdoor activities. The Assistant Teacher will develop skills in observing and assessing children, planning for their needs, and communicating effectively with families. Extensive training in childcare, preschool, and child development topics is provided.

Requirements

• Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
• Energetic, dependable, and passionate about working with children.

Responsibilities

• Follow licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child.
• Maintain a fun, interactive classroom that is clean and organized.
• Engage in physical activity with children indoors or outdoors.
• Develop the ability to observe and assess children and plan for their needs.
