About The Position

This is a child care center role focused on helping children learn and grow. Assistant Teachers provide daily care, maintain an engaging and organized classroom, support child observation and planning, communicate with families, and complete training in childcare, preschool, and child development. The position involves working indoors or outdoors and engaging in physical activity with children.

Pay is $17.51–$18.19 per hour, with bi-weekly and Daily Pay options. Pay is based on position, education, and experience. Full-time employees receive immediate medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and a 401(k) with company match. Part-time employees are offered limited medical coverage. Education assistance, including tuition reimbursement and certification, is available to all employees. The work week is Monday through Friday.

Requirements

• Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
• Energetic, dependable, and passionate about working with children.

Responsibilities

• Follow all licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child.
• Maintain a fun, interactive classroom that is clean and organized.
• Develop the ability to accurately observe, assess, and plan for children.
• Effectively communicate with families.
• Complete training on childcare, preschool, and child development topics.
• Engage in physical activity with children indoors or outdoors.
