Assistant Teacher
About The Position
This is a child care center role focused on helping children learn and grow. The Assistant Teacher supports the daily care of children, follows licensing guidelines and company standards, and helps maintain a fun, interactive, clean, and organized classroom. The role also involves developing skills in observing and assessing children, planning for their needs, and communicating effectively with families. Extensive training is provided on childcare, preschool, and child development topics. The position requires working indoors or outdoors and engaging in physical activity with children. The work week is Monday through Friday.
Requirements
- Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
- Energetic and dependable, with a passion for working with children.
- Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
Responsibilities

- Hourly pay of $16.40–$17.03, based on position, education, and experience.
